Du béton, des blocs et des couleurs

Not much info is to be found on the internets regarding Darry Perier and that’s a shame seeing as how interesting his work is. A discrete illustrator whose taste in canvases happens to be quite uncommon if not peculiar given that those are blockhouses, more often than not. As to give them a second life - a second chance of sorts - especially those along the coasts of French Gironde.

A painstaking job, endless even, knowing how the earlier ones will have to be restored as soon as the later ones will be freshly painted.

Some beautiful work adorning very ugly concrete blocks, and a good idea for participative pieces - with such initiatives, everybody wins.
